  Came to see the Dr for a second opion as recommended by my Gp for My five year who needed a tooth extraction. The Dr spent 5 mins and printed out a quote to do Day surgery under general anaesthetics. Apparently my son would be traumatised if this option wasn't taken because of age. Costs was around $1800. Then when I walked out to the front reception I was given extra costs for day Surgery which is another $1000 plus another few hundred dollar for anesthetics fees. Save your $160.00 consult fee and see your school dentist for free for kids over 4. The tooth extraction is pain free.

  My son has been going to Vicki for quite a few years now and we have always found everyone very child friendly. It is a little pricy but worth the extra cost. My son had to have a filling in a baby tooth and was terrified before going, but once in the chair he had a movie to watch and Vicki and the nurse comforted him the whole time. They then discussed dental hygiene with him and now he has quite a few adult teeth and no fillings! Vicki always talks to my son and explains everything to him before discussing with me. My son is very happy to go there and likes feeling important....:)
